This is our first dressed-up Mommy/Daughter picture. I am so smitten by this little girl. She has been so much fun to have. One of the highlights of my day is having a conversation with her and having her smile at me...I know she knows who I am and how much I love her. With the boys I have expectations for them to be just like their Dad...and I hope they follow his example. With Kate I have some expectations to live up to myself...I hope she'll choose good things throughout her life and want to live up to her potential.

Birthday Cowboy Style
Five years old...have loved every day with this boy. His four year old year was spent being a cowboy...wonder if it's in his blood :) So fitting for us to have a cowboy night for this boy.
Thanks for the help on the cake Lisa. It turned out great!
We asked everyone to dress up in their cowboy get-up. Grandpa rose to the challenge! Belt buckle and all!
Best buds. I wish I had a picture of McKay and Davy like this. We need to raid their Mom's houses and find some of their earliest pictures together. I hope these two develop the kind of relationship McKay and Davy have.
Do you think they'd have made the cut for Tombstone :)
And yes I joined the family theme and bought myself a pair of Stetsons when Reams was going out of business.
Nothing like a brother...
Or an aunt Chels...she bought the boys both pairs of boots they are wearing. Talk about spoiling my kids ROTTEN!
A cowgirl and her ranch hands...
We sure love you little partner!
Asher
Sweet Baby Asher was born on March 21st. He was a little guy (6 pounds) and came pretty quickly for Melis. So happy to have him here healthy!
I have a feeling these two are going to be great friends...(along with baby Jerz)

Blessed
3.12.12...
"Sent to this earth, you were saved through the ages for this day and time. Child of great worth...child of promise, daughter of the Divine. Pure and holy in a little white dress. You were held in a circle...and you were blessed. And the Father looked down...and the angels surrounded that place. They knew the truth, all that you could do. And you will too...if you have eyes to see, What Heaven Sees in You." - Doug Walker

McKay gave our little girl a beautiful blessing. So proud to be his wife and so honored to be her Mommy.

Five...
I have some catching up to do but needed to wish my favorite little five year old a happy birthday! Having a new baby again it's easy to remember the first days of being a Mommy and rocking Peyton for hours on end...if only Katelyn got the same treatment :) We spent an hour today watching Peyton's birthday videos from the very beginning. I have loved each year with Peyt and look forward to many more. He's a great kid. Enjoy the recap of the past year. Love the Taylor Swift song and see if you notice the artist at the end of the video...

Photography by DMC
Mary Clark (photographybydmc.blogspot.com) did such an amazing job on our pictures! I love all of them!
Hard to believe this little man is almost 5. I've had a wrought iron picture hanger in our home since he was a baby and I remember thinking..."One day, each of these three frames will be filled with different children instead of all the same one." And that day is here :) Peyton is such a good boy. He's doing so well in preschool and wants to learn and try lots of new things.
Chayce was a stud for his pictures...so stinking cute! These will count as his 3 year old pictures and he looks so grown up! He is a spitting image of his daddy and has the cutest little personality. He'll sit and chat your ear off for hours if you let him!
So lucky they are ours!
What a joy its been to bring this little peanut into our home. She's a great baby and fills our home with lots of love! She really sleeps 18-20 out of the 24 hours.
If I have my say she will dance one day :)
Bless you baby girl :)

The first few weeks
Six weeks has gone by...and I'm just getting up to speed on this. Someday I'll be used to having three kids...
We've had so many people do so many nice things for us the past month and a half. You know who you are and what you've done and we appreciate it so much!
This was Papa and Grammy's first picture with baby Kate. They came over to visit as soon as Grammy started feeling better. She made the darling, soft blanket Kate is wrapped in...she loves it and always falls asleep in it.
These two guys are so smitten by her. They want to be wherever she is! It's been hard to keep them away with their constant colds but I'm doing my best! I can't wait for sick season to be over so I'm not mad every time they go in for a kiss! I predict we'll have two very protective brothers!
I love this picture of her...
Not looking so great in this pic but it was the best I could do with Jersey girl. They came over for a visit the week after we came home. I hope these two grow up to be great friends...I'm sure they will!

Adjusting
Life with three kids is never boring...trying to find a way to fit in a little me time once in awhile which includes blogging. I want to post lots of pictures I've taken of Katelyn and the kids. It will happen another day. I just wanted to quickly express my gratitude for my three healthy, beautiful children and a wonderful husband. So thankful we get to live in families and share life together. I have so many hopes and dreams for where I want to help take my family. So many things I want to work on...to get better at...to accomplish.
Life is good. Today Lisa, Kallee and I finished the front room decor of a good friend battling stage 4 melanoma. Yuck. But her room is beautiful. Thanks ladies for letting me play a small part (too bad the timing of the project came a few days after Katelyn was born). We love Alisa and would do anything for her...lucky us that she let us use our love of design to bless her life a little bit. We all pray she's going to beat the ugly cancer monster and enjoy her room for years to come...
