We had so much fun at our annual Tepanyaki dinner on Monday night. Thanks so much Ercanbracks!

Santa never fails!

Our kids woke up Christmas morning to find that Santa had indeed come.
















Peyton actually had to be woken up! We were out late the night before so we all got to sleep until around 8 a.m. that morning. It was great!















Peyton waiting anxiously at the top of the stairs. We first had to check and make sure the reindeer ate their food and Santa got his milk and cookies. Santa even left a note for the boys!




















Opening presents together!















Santa must have listened carefully to what Peyton asked for. He now has a TV in his room (but only to watch movies occassionally...no cable for this little boy!) Peyt also got lots of other fun toys and games as you can see!















Grammy and Papa stopped by a little later in the morning to see what Santa brought! It was a fun visit.















Chayce went through waves of excitement and melancholy Christmas morning. Some days Chayce is even-keeled and relaxed and other days we don't know how he's going to be from one minute to the next!

We had brunch at the Ercanbracks and opened our presents from Grammy, Papa and the siblings.

and this turned out to be the Leapster Explorer for Peyt! So exciting!














McKay and I received a very generous cash gift to be put right in the bank account :) Thanks so much!















All the siblings bought Pam this cute clock of her grandkids















and Wayne was surprised with a new wood burning stove! So fun to do something unexpected!
















We had a wonderful few days with family yet again. What a great time to make wonderful memories and do things that you love together!

Christmas Eve

We had a busy yet wonderful Christmas! Here were the festivities from last weekend...

We started at Grandma Shoells with a nice visit. She's so sweet and gave everyone money to spend! Grandma has a beautiful Christmas display in her front room and the kids love to watch all the moving figures!
















The Ercanbrack white elephant exchange is always a hit...Lucy is going in for a big kiss here...I didn't get a great shot but Melissa did. I'll post it eventually.















These boys have a wonderful Grammy...spoils them!















I was pretty proud of one my my white elephant gifts at the party. Kimball loves the Notebook so I cut his and Melissa's pictures out of their Christmas card and glued them onto the cover of the movie...it was classic. Wish I would have taken a pic...I think Melissa took one so I'll post later.

Our traditional Christmas Eve dinner was spent at Texas Road House. Yum!















Santa made a special visit to my parents house that evening. Peyt was quite surprised.


































Chelsea had to fly Christmas day so we opened presents Christmas Eve. My Dad grew up with this tradition so he was excited to be doing it his way this year!

My boys are spoiled! They have two sets of Grandparents that love them so much! Thank you so much Mom and Dad for all the wonderful gifts and more importantly the love you show my children. There's nothing that could replace your sweet relationships with them. We love you so much!

We finished the evening with a round of Aggravation (boys got lucky!). On our way to bed we left Santa milk and cookies and a little reindeer food on the porch.

Twas the night before the night before Christmas

We had our 2nd Annual McArthur/Ercanbrack Christmas Eve Eve night with yummy fondue and present opening. Love this new tradition!
















This was so cute...the second Peyton could see what his gift was Port yelled "TADA!" These little boys are so funny...they act more like brothers than friends sometimes...






























Chayce was a little more involved with present opening this year...he was so interested in what was inside and would tilt his neck to the side as if that would help him see his present better.

Prosper Party 2010

Had a nice evening with just the two of us at Prosper's Christmas party. They had a nice dinner at UVU with a little entertainment mixed in. We enjoy the company of friends we've made since he's worked there. Hard to believe its been six years...

Let it Snow

Peyton and I took full advantage of the snow storm that hit last week and went out to play. We bought him some new snow clothes and had to try them out!

We just woke up to another storm so maybe today will turn out similar!

My Mom went to visit our family living in Washington and Aunt Melinda sent her home with fun little gifts for the boys! Thanks Aunt Melinda! They loved it!
















For many years my Grandpa has taken his grandkids on a lunch/shopping date for Christmas. This year he wasn't able to make it to Utah but sent money for us to enjoy! I decided to take the family on a date to see Tangled and the boys got this...















Fun Buzz toys! They love their new shake and go car and laser gun! Thanks so much Grandpa and Grandma and Merry Christmas!

A Holly Jolly Christmas

We've had ourselves a great Christmas season thus far filled with fun activities with family and friends...

Annual Festival of Trees trip





















I want to make one of these eventually...so awesome!















This cabin playhouse was SO amazing. The inside was incredible...what a dream to have something like this for my little guys to play in...































The Polar Express...Wayne and Pam arranged for us to ride a cute little train in Lindon. A few families set this up and give free rides to the North Pole where the kids get to see Santa. They've also set up pictures of Christ and a nativity on the ride back. We had fun!





























Peyt asked for a bunny rabbit and a TV for his room. Both items were news to us...




















Chayce was not so sure of Santa...don't think he cares what he gets anyway!




















Ercanbrack gingerbread houses and Grandma Shoell's Christmas party...

These two have become quite fond of each other the past little while...so glad they are buds. Notice the sword in Peyton's hand? He is now HeMan where ever he goes...and I'm usually Teela, Chayce is battlecat and Daddy is Cringer or Skeletor.


































We had fun decorating the gingerbread house!



































Grandma Shoell is the sweetest lady...always so giving and thoughtful. We love her so much!
