Merry Christmas to All!

We hope all of our friends and family who visit this site have a very Merry Christmas! It's been a wonderful morning full of spoiled children! We are off to Grammy and Papa's and later to Grandma and Grandpa's for more fun. I am so grateful for wonderful family, my amazing little boys, awesome husband and the love and blessing of the Savior in our lives. Have a wonderful day!

Christmas=Busy

I LOVE the holidays but I must say I feel so busy all month. It's filled with great "busy" times, but I'm excited that next week is dedicated to family and relaxing! Here's a few pics from our
"busy-ness"...

Ercanbrack Family Christmas Party. There are at least 100 Ercanbracks and most of them were at the party. We don't see them very often so it was nice to see everyone and catch up.

Aunt Angel helped Peyton with the crafts. Thanks Ange! Peyton loves you and Uncle Kurt.

Peyton was thrilled to be taking a family picture.

Watching Santa arrive...Tyler is such a good cousin.

This was the second visit to Santa in one day (he's seen him four times now!) Every visit its the same thing..."I want a big firetruck."

Later on we decorated gingerbread houses at Grammy's house. Ours was not quite Martha Stewart material, but it was still fun! Later that night McKay and I got to go to the Gary Allan concert at The Depot. We always love Gary...although this experience was my least favorite. Standing for four hours by a bunch of drunk, sleazy girls is not my idea of fun. At least Gary was entertaining!

Last weekend we had the Ercanbracks over for a Christmas get-together. I enjoy entertaining, especially during the holidays. We had a fun evening together. What a good looking family!

Monday night we went to Grandma Shoell's Christmas party...always a fun night!

The boys' matching Christmas sweaters. LOVE these guys so much.

McKay's sweet Grandma. The house feels different with Grandpa gone, but Grandma still shares and gives all that she has and makes it a warm, inviting place to visit. She's a great accordian player. We all sing as she plays while we wait for Santa to come.

Cute Kurt was a trooper and played Santa's reindeer this year. The guy next to him is cousin Mel's fiance...he's at least 6'7 and a super nice guy...so excited for her!

I sneaked Chayce on Santa's lap and I don't think he even noticed where he was. Better experience for the first time than it was for Peyton! Thanks for the great evening Grandma!

I had my girlfriends from high school over Wednesday night and didn't take any pictures! It's so fun to get together with them! We are completely entertained by food and talking...nothing else needed! It was nice to have an evening minus kids to just relax...I think between all of us there are well over 20 kids in the group now! Thanks for coming girls!

We have much more fun ahead...Christmas is SO great!

Festival of Trees

Another fun evening at the Festival. Although I HATE parking at this event so it dampers the beginning of the evening. You shortly forget when you get into the expo center and get to enjoy!

My aunt Julie and cousin Kristen joined us this year...made it alot of fun

Thanks Mom for inviting us every year. She takes Peyton on fun adventures weekly and this was one of them. She's started a scrapbook with pictures from all of them so he'll have fun memories of time with his Grandma. She is so awesome!

They had the Utah and BYU trees right next to each other...don't think they'll ever be much more unity between the two schools besides that :)

I loved this Santa decoration...if anyone ever sees it please tell me where it is!

This was Peyton's favorite...the Eric Carle tree

Wizard of Oz tree. I think it was my favorite.

Another favorite...the Barbie tree. There were a few but I liked this one the best.

I love doing things with my family during the holidays. It makes everything perfect!

I thought this was cute...the progression of getting a good picture of your baby...

Good...

Better...

Best...Love you Chayce!

Thanks again Mom for a great evening.

Six months and sitting

Chayce went to his six month appointment today. Almost 18 pounds and if I remember about 27 inches. He's such a happy, healthy baby. I think all I could ever ask or wish for is healthy kids...and so far that's come true. He is such a joy to have in our home. He just stares at Peyton...I know he already realizes its his brother and that they'll share a special bond.

Our little man is sitting up! He'll stay for a few minutes by himself before its time to topple over. Love him so much!

All Aboard on the Polar Express

We had such a fun night Tuesday on the Polar Express! Lisa and Porter invited us to join them along with our friends Kristin and Matie and it was a fun experience! Peyton LOVES the movie and believes every bit of it.

Once Peyt found his seat he did NOT want to move for awhile. I tried to get him to for a picture with Porter and he wasn't having it. When I put these jammies on him last night he said "No Mom I wear these on the Polar Express!".

Peyton and "Glitter". The little elves came up to Peyt a few times and talked to him about what Santa was bringing him for Christmas...he's determined to get trucks!

Watching for the North Pole...

Peyton usually loves me to read to him but HE was in charge of the book and turning the pages. So we didn't really read the story on the train but that's OK.

Santa joined us on the train at the North Pole and had a bell for all the kids...here's Peyt receiving his.

Not so sure about the big guy but he didn't cry which is a step up from last year!

So proud of his new bell that rings for him! He believes in Christmas and Santa that's for sure!

Lisa told me about these pajamas at Target so I had to get some for Peyt too...he's a Cars fanatic. Our cute matching boys who didn't want a posed picture. Here they are jumping on the seats!

The conductor comes around and punches their ticket at the end...just like the movie. Wish this picture was better but oh well!

We had a great start to a wonderful holiday season!

His First Time...

Disneyland is so much fun with your own kids! My Grandma Neiger treated us to a fun-filled day while we were visiting her this past week in California. Peyt woke up this morning and said..."Daddy, can we go to Disneyland tomorrow after it gets dark?" He's already planning for his next visit.

If I'm remembering right Peyt and I shared our first time riding Dumbo together. Don't think I'd ever been on it before! We had Jack and Chels with us which made for a fun day for McKay and I and convenient photography help!

This was right before Peyt fell asleep...thought he would have loved the Buzz ride but he wanted nothing to do with it. I think he was just ready for a snooze. Thankfully he woke up happy and had a great afternoon/evening.

It's a Small World is my Mom's favorite ride...so we had to take a sibling picture for her. As you can see the bright California sun was right in our faces. I'm missing that weather!

Peyt loved the ride too! There's so much to look at on that ride. They did a great job decorating for Christmas! If you ever get the chance to go to Disneyland at Christmastime do it!

I cheated (twice) and took pictures of the pictures they take of you on rides. I thought McKay's reaction was classic...and the fact that he found a way to completely block me out of the picture :) I usually look dumb in these pictures anyway!

This was definitely the highlight of the day for Peyton. He was amazed that he actually was meeting McQueen and Mater. Later we saw them actually driving in the parade which was the ultimate excitement for Peyt. He kept telling everyone it was his favorite part of the day.

My favorite part of the day was Screamin' California...the rollercoaster in California Adventure. McKay and I went twice and sat in the front row the first time...much more fun than sitting in the middle! This was the first time I'd been to this park and it has some fun things! The Soarin Ride was pretty fun too. Next time we go I hope we can do a two day stay so we have more time for everything. Yes this picture is dorky but I had to include it...

The castle is so amazing at night during Christmas!

This was our view waiting for the firework show right before we left. Main Street was packed with people and we didn't want to be stuck in that trafffic. We stood at the end of the street and booked it after the show. It was a fun end to a great day!

Peyt didn't quite make it...

Thanks again SO much to Grandma for the tickets and to my parents for taking Chayce all day so we didn't have to worry about a baby. It was such a fun day for me as a Mom to take Peyton and see his love for Disneyland too!

Thanksgiving California Style

So many people travel for Thanksgiving and in my 27 years I've never traveled for the holiday...until this year. I could REALLY get used to 70 degree Thanksgivings every year! My sweet Grandma Neiger hosted us this week. We had a wonderful time with her and my Uncle Steve. It's always a great time when we go to see them. Part of our trip included time at the park! It was such a beautiful day...

My Grandma is a wonderful cook. Dinner was fabulous. She works so hard when we are there to make things nice.

It was so exciting to introduce her to Chayce. He warmed right up to her and had lots of smiles and laughs for her. He loves his Grandmas! He knows how to turn on the charm now so he'll always get what he wants :)

We had our traditional games of Aggravation. My Dad set-up a tournament this year which my Mom and I won! My Grandma finished the last game off for me! Too bad boys!

Peyt and Uncle Steve...too bad he wasn't in a smiling/picture mood!

Our second four generation picture with Grandma. I love these pictures and will always cherish them. We're planning on Grandma being here for a picture with all of our kids!

Thank you thank you for a wonderful trip! My parents were also very generous and paid for many things while we were gone. I am so very grateful for my family. I had a good friend lose her Mom a few weeks ago and I hurt for her. I rely on my parents and extended family so much. They are a huge part of my life and I can be a good Mom and wife because of them. Also love my inlaws so much and we missed them during this holiday. Can't wait to spend time with them over the Christmas season!
