Thirty

I turned 30!  And I feel just fine about it!  I had the best birthday weekend and felt so much love from my friends and family!  Steph, Lisa, Kallee, my Mom, Chels and McKay all threw a fun surprise party for me at a park near our house on Friday night.  Family and some close friends were there and I had no idea!  We pulled up and I wondered why the park was so busy...and then I realized they were there for me!  It was fun to see friends I hadn't in awhile and was very spoiled with money to redo my bedroom!  Steph also made the nicest book with pictures and notes from people I love!  I keep it on my nightstand :)  It was a fun surprise!

Saturday I got to spend the whole day with my favorite person!  We started at Magleby's with my favorite french toast breakfast.  En route to Salt Lake we stopped at IKEA and Taipan for a little bedroom decor shopping.  When we got to the Gateway we saw a good movie called The Words.  We ended at Tucanos for my favorite birthday dinner with a stop at Sweet Tooth Fairy for a cupcake to end the day.  Quite perfect if you ask me!

Couldn't love this man and these kids more!

My bedroom turned out just how I wanted it to!  Love it!
Alaynah and I also celebrated our birthdays together at the Ercanbracks.
I have so enjoyed the first thirty years of my life and believe the next thirty will be just as great!

First Day of School

Peyton and Chayce both had their first days of school on Tuesday, August 28th.  They were both so excited and ready to start!  Peyton is going to Sego Lily Elementary as a big Kindergartener and is in Ms Shedden's class.  Chayce is going to Miss Denise and Miss Heather at a Bushel and a Peck Preschool down the street!

Peyton talked about riding the bus and starting Kindergarten before preschool even started last year!  I bought this backpack for him a few years ago and it's still too huge :)  I guess it will stay the overnight trip bag instead.
We have 20 plus kids in our neighborhood that started Kindergarten with Peyton!  Quite a few are in his class too!  In the picture are Peyt, Luke Osmond, Scott Brown, Ava Few, Sarah Lemon, Janie Smith and Dacia Young.  A bunch of cuties!
This was the most tender moment of the day for me.  It was so hard for me to see my little buddy getting on the big bus!  Otherwise I was just fine and happy for him that he was so excited!  Kenna Jensen helped him get on the first time.
I followed him to school and watched him line up and wait for his teacher to come get them.  All smiles!
I love this picture of him looking back to make sure I was still there.  He's my kid that needs two hugs and five waves goodbye before he'll leave my sight.  I kinda love it :)
This is his teacher Ms Shedden.  She's a sweet lady and not much taller than the kids!  I've had fun helping in his class this year!
I also popped into his classroom and took a picture by his cubby...this only happens once after all :)
After the hub bub of getting Peyt off to school it was Chayce's turn!  His first day of preschool was also a success and he loves it!
While time goes by way too fast, I'm so grateful I get to share in my kids' important milestones and help them grow up to be great people!

Lehi Soccer

Peyt had his first season of soccer and loved it!  Anyway to let him run fast and get some of that energy out is a good thing!  His team was the storm clouds and he had the best coach Matt!
At the end of the season he had a little awards presentation and Peyton received the "most improved" award!  Way to go Peyt!
His cute little team.  He played with three other neighbor kids:  Kamry Jessop (second to left), Arya Long (third to left), and Sam (end right).  Sure love my little soccer star!

Girls Camp 2012

I had the best time with the Young Women at girls camp this year!  I can't believe this was our third year at camp!  This year we went to the Lindon Property in Heber (just East of Heber Valley Camp). We had great camp directors (Trina Parkinson, RoShan Chadwick and DeeDee Evans) who put together lots of fun activities and yummy food to eat.  My bravest moment was going off the rope swing into the freezing water! I feel so fortunate to work with the girls in our ward and see all of them accomplishing many great things in their lives.
Stuart Falls hike a few weeks before camp

Rope Swing

Someone built a rope swing over the creek behind our house.  I was surprised Peyton loved it as much as he did.  He's not really a daring kid and is afraid of heights.  However, he idolizes his Dad and when McKay talks him into doing something, he'll usually do it!  To me a rope swing over a creek is the epitome of boys and summer!  He loved going back there and begged to go everyday!
McKay took a turn too!  He tried to convince me to do it, but it just wasn't tempting enough!

Swimming Lessons

Kind of pathetic that Peyton is 5 and just had his first swimming lessons!  We will be better from now on!  Signed him up at the Legacy Center.  He loved it!  His teacher is the one on the left...
Next summer we'll get Chayce in the pool too.  That should be a little more of an adventure!  Sure love my little swimmer dude!

Flexibaby

I know all babies are flexible, but Kate moves her little legs and body in pretty crazy ways!  And she'll sit in positions like this for long periods of time...

I really hope this stays and pays off in her dancing career someday :)

Miss Kate

A few random pictures of baby girl.  I feel so fortunate to have my two buddies and this little princess!  She is an active, happy baby who is very curious about her surroundings!  She's a babbler and loves it when people give her attention and talk back to her.  She's never found in public without a bow :)  Love our little miss!

Ears Pierced

At six months we pierced Katelyn's ears.  I love how they look!  After having two boys I definitely have gone all girl with this baby!  She is so fun to doll up...

Aunt Chels is the best and bought the gun and earrings to do it for us!  She worked at the Piercing Pagoda a long time ago and her skills came in handy!  Kate screamed for a minute but was quickly over it!  They haven't bugged her since!  I love having a baby girl:)

Cowboy pictures

Pam had family pictures taken in a cowboy theme this year.  Ideal for my two little buckaroos!  They turned out pretty cute!
Pam has had this vintage buggy for years and had Angel's pictures taken in it.  She pulled it out for us to snap a few pictures with the baby girls.  I love the one of Katelyn!

St George Girls Trip

Had a great time with my sister in laws in St. George!  Melis is so great to let us stay in her family's condo for a few days!  This year it was all about the babies!  It was nice to just have one child with me for a few days!  We ate yummy food, watched movies, went shopping, played Ticket to Ride and talked!  My perfect idea of a trip.  Sadly I didn't take many pictures and the three I did were of the babies!

Kate started to say "dada" (her first word) so we filmed her and sent it to McKay.  It was pretty cute :)

Fourth

We had another fabulous fourth of July.  Top three in the holiday department for me!  I love dressing the kids up in their red, white and blue!

Annual 4th Family picture in the Ercanbrack backyard

Katelyn started to sit up by herself!  This was a great day as now she can play with toys while sitting without Mommy worrying about her being on her back too much!

Cutest baby cousins!  Sad that Jersey is leaving so soon for Texas!  They can become pen pals eventually!
The fourth wouldn't be complete without playing on Grammy's waterslide!  We had a yummy dutch oven dinner and fireworks to cap it all off!  A great day spent with family we love!

Strawberry Days

We took our little cowboys and cowgirl to their first Strawberry Days rodeo...it didn't disappoint!  It was a beautiful summer evening and the boys LOVED it!  We had fun with the McArthurs and Brent and Jill!

Every time we drive past the rodeo grounds they ask when we're going again!  Next year for sure boys!

Celine Dion

For an early birthday present, my Mom treated me to a night in Vegas to see Celine Dion.  My grandparents also came with us and we had a fabulous time!  She is one talented lady!  So grateful I had the opportunity to go and spend time with my lovely Mom and awesome Grandparents!

Marry me...

I love Train's song "Marry Me".  So glad Jack and Rach used it on their wedding video:)  This was such a beautiful day for these two.  So happy it was.  They deserve it...

President Uchtdorf married them and did a great job.  Racheal's Mom knows him and asked if he would do it for them.  A fun memory as part of their day!  One part of the sealing I loved was that he said to create your own legacy as a couple.  Appreciate the generations who have paved the way for you, but focus on what you will do together to create a beautiful legacy for your posterity.  Good advice for everyone there!

Classic Jack expression as they came out of the temple.  Rach looked stunning!

Hugs for sis.  It was sad not to have her with us to make the room complete.  We know someday in the near future it will happen for her too!

 Loves for Uncle Jack!

And Aunt Rach!

Oh how I love this girl...she is one amazing sister.  We are excited to add another girl in the mix too!
 The beautiful couple!
Racheal's parents Cecil and Yvonne.  Great people...
My photo like this outside of the temple was much smaller :)  Adding three kids and another spouse fills it in nicely!

I love going to the Salt Lake temple.  It's where McKay and I were married...and now we have a new generation to send there someday!
The view from the luncheon room at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.  Such a great event!

Their reception was BEAUTIFUL!  They had it at Thanksgiving Point and it was perfect.

I love going to weddings with McKay.  Such a great reminder of the love I have for him!  I'm glad he agreed to marry me "today and everyday"

Mr. Chayce wasn't feeling well so he got sent home with baby Kate and Dad while Mom and Peyt stayed to party

Jack and his buddies recreated a moment from 9th grade by singing Westlife's "Swear it Again".  They did a pretty great job!  Jack has some mad singing skills!

Party Rockin Peyt.  He grooved on the dance floor the whole 45 minutes!

Love my family so much...so amazing to spend beautiful days like this together.  I wish Jack and Racheal all the happiness in the world and look forward to having them as a couple in our family.  We love you so much!
