Chelsea the flight attendant

My beautiful sister passed flight attending school and now works with SkyWest. I'm so excited for her. We made it to the very end of the graduation and heard her name announced.

It just so happened that the pilot who taught during her training was the father of one of my Mom's kindergarten students. He was so nice and took us on a tour of the hangar and an airplane...Peyt has never been in an airplane before so this was an exciting thing for him!

It was extra fun to sit in the cockpick!

Peyton and Pilot Aaron

Race car driver or pilot? I guess time will tell.

We had a very fun afternoon celebrating with Chelsea. Congrats and we love you!

California

Family Vacation time...

Boys did very well in the car...Ring Pops sure make for great entertainment!

Peyt had fun swimming in the pool at our first stop in Vegas

It's OK to jump on the bed in hotels right :) Peyt thought our place was "very nice"

Our next stop was Grandma Neiger's house to hang out. We had fun at the park near her house.

Chayce took his first trip down the slide...and seemed to enjoy it!

Peyton and Chayce saw their first movie in the theater...the latest Shrek movie. Peyton seemed to enjoy it, but Chayce didn't care too much about it. One year olds don't belong at movies I guess.

One afternoon was spent at the beach. Chayce enjoyed his first trip to the beach much more than Peyton's first visit. Although he'd had enough of the cold water pretty quick.

Peyt is our beach bum. He loved every minute. He was enjoying running up and down Newport with McKay.

Uncle Steve! It was so great to see him post-transplant! No more dialysis! Yeah! We have such wonderful hosts when we visit California. Thank you so much Grandma. We love you and are so grateful for everything you do!

Yes we made ANOTHER trip to Disney...twice in a year's time. And I think the last trip for a few years...we'll wait until Peyton can ride the big rides with us! However, it was still a great time with wonderful company (the McArthurs!)

He was so happy and good during our two days there. So glad!

We saw many more characters this time than last. Glad we made a visit to Buzz!

Again one of the highlights!

Peyton just wanted to ride more rides! He had a great time and was very sad to leave!

Our buddies had a great time together.

We spent one afternoon in the Bugs Life land...the boy's perfect rides.

Our visit to Mickey's house. Too bad we were done waiting in line to see him...our Minnie attempt was a little late also...oh well!

The Pixar parade is a favorite because it ends with McQueen and Mater driving down the road...Peyton enjoyed his pre-parade popcorn snack.

Our last picture before prying Peyton away from Disneyland. He would have stayed until Midnight to see the new water show with Mom...but Dad and Chayce were ready to go.

We made one more stop in Vegas on the way home for me to take a quick trip to H&M while McKay took Peyton to see Toy Story 3. McKay had to take Peyt out twice due to his emotions getting the best of him...he felt so bad for the "baby". I need to see it now to really understand what happened.

I LOVE family vacations and am grateful McKay is onboard to take them. It's so much fun to be with your own little family and spend time together. We had a fabulous time!

I leave for girls camp next week! Should be fun! We are also fortunate enough to visit Canada the first part of August thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Johnson...we're really looking forward to it!

Summer Lover

We've had a great summer thus far. These were a few things that have happened in June that I've failed to post...

These kids are the cutest buddies. We are so thankful to the McArthurs for coming over to help us with our backyard. We have a load of dirt to add and then SOD! Can't wait. These three are great little helpers in the dirt and were enjoying their Sonic drink on the back porch.

Grandpa Shoell's headstone is beautiful. We visited on Memorial Day. It's hard to believe we've been without him almost a year. He's very missed.

Melissa and I have had fun getting together with the kids. This was our trip to the duck pond and Brick Oven.

Peyton would have chased these ducks up to the Marriott Center if I would have let him! He's fascinated by birds and ducks and loves to follow them around.

I love little daily excursions to get out of the house and let my kids enjoy new things!
